The complete Inno IN-SU roof rack system is the multi-purpose base rack solution for cars, minivans and pickup truck cabs without raingutters or factory racks. Same quality as Yakima and Thule, but a lot cheaper and affordable. Looks nice, is easily installed and secured. Free locks are very cool feature.

I was apprehensive about putting anything on my roof and scratching the paint. This rack system was easy to install per the instructions that were included. It was even easier to remove with no damage to the paint at all. We had a hard cover top luggage carrier attached to the racks for over 2,000 highways miles and everything worked perfectly.

(PLEASE NOTE: Thule 835PRO kayak rack also included in this review). The Inno Racks fit my Prius perfectly, quality product which installs/removes easily. Very impressed with Thule kayak racks, high quality, ease of use. Wish the kayak racks came with locks, like the IN-SU Inno Racks base rack does. For the price of the Thule, it would be nice if they were included. Both systems perform well and are quality items. Definitely satisfied...

Installed flawlessly with little to no effort, amazing quality and the packaging shows they care about their products. First, ORS is really excellent to deal with. They answer emails quickly and keep you updated. All A+. The rack is nice and solid and doesn't mark or oilcan my roof. The instructions are professional looking and detailed. The feet fit around the gutter-ledge above the door frame with part of the rubber foot sitting on the black rubber strip in the cars roof, and part sitting on the metal roof outboard of that. I prefer that to the way the Yakima fits this car, where the feet sit further outboard on the steeply sloping part of the roof/door frame (examined one I saw in a parking lot). My only gripe is that the rubber feet don't look like their 100% customized to fit this specific roof. The instructions tell you (and the design requires you) to mount the feet a little inboard of the spot where they would fit snuggly against the vertical ledge in the roof, so you end up with a gap, especially at the front of the car. If you move the feet further out, the clamps won't tighten properly. Everything fits solid but it makes it look more like a very good fitting universal rack, rather than a rack customized for the specific car. But back to bottom line - it's solid, doesn't mark my roof, the locks work well (won't stop a determined crook though) and I'm happy with the purchase. And I have to repeat that ORS is great to deal with.

(PLEASE NOTE: Inno Rack Fairing also included in this review). Overall I'm very pleased with this roof rack. I found the instructions to be slightly confusing at first having never installed a roof rack before, but after a few minutes is was easy enough to figure it out and a snap to install. It was very noisy installed that way, but when I later installed the fairing (also very easy) it completely eliminated the wind noise and I'm completely satisfied with my new rack. Looks great on the 2011 Nissan Versa hatchback too.

ORS Racks Direct Crew comments - Inno crossbars have the exact same dimensions as Thule square load bars.
New Kayaker asks - Will the INSU rack system work on a 2002 Honda Accord sedan. It seems to me that the curve of the roof of the car is too steep. My kayak would not sit on the rails, because of the curve of the roof?
ORS Racks Direct crew answers - No worries. Inno Racks has designed and measured specific placement so front and rear Stays and Fit Hooks are positioned so the crossbars are level to one another and your kayak will lay flat.

BRINSKY3 answers - Yeah I use the Inno IN-SU system for my 2009 Hyundai Elantra roof rack base system. The B127 50 inch bars are the right length for the 09 Elantra. You have enough room to then attach any cargo box and bike carrier to the cross bars.

The B147 58" cross bars are the recommended crossbar length for the F-150 cab roof. zooks answers - Yep. I'm using this system for my 2006 Hyundai Elantra car rack. Get the B127 50 inch bars and ORS Racks Direct will also include the K1023 Fit Hooks. The large Inno fairing is the correct size.

Hendrix4 responds - You're going to want to attach a kayak stacker style kayak carrier to the INSU roofrack crossbars. I use the Inno Racks INA-450 kayak rack stacker. Definitely recommend it.
CM asks - I have a 2007 Dodge Caliber that has nothing on the rooftop currently. Will this system work? I am looking to put a rack on top to hold two 12ft kayaks.
ORS Crew answers - Yes this system is a great option for your 2007 Dodge Caliber rooftop. We will send you the Inno K555 Fit Hooks (made for your 07 Dodge Caliber). You can then attach any kayak racks to the cross bars. If using two sets of j-cradles style carriers you can use the recommended B127 50" crossbars. If using 2 sets of kayak saddles (carries the kayaks laying flat) then select the longer B147 58" bars.
RocklandYES asks - Will this work as a 2010 Volkswagen Tiguan roof rack? There is no factory rack or side rails of any kind on the cartop currently. I want to confirm before ordering. I really like the silver color, it'll match my car nicely.
ORS Crew answers - Yes this is the perfect solution for a 2010 VW Tiguan car rack system that does not have a factory rack or side rails or anything on the rooftop. In fact it is the only system that works on the VW Tiguan. Thule Racks and Yakima Racks do not work for this car. You will get the K584 Fit Hooks. Select the B147 58 inch cross bars.
