The complete Inno IN-SU roof rack system is the multi-purpose base rack solution for cars, minivans and pickup truck cabs without raingutters or factory racks. I compared the Inno racks with the two other major manufacturers and after talking with the helpful staff at ORS Racks Direct ordered a base rack system for my 2010 Toyota Corolla. The rack is of excellent quality, was easy to install, and is much less costly than Yakima or Thule. At the time of purchase this system came with the locks included at no extra cost. I use it to carry two 12' kayaks. I use the SportsRack J-cradle style for one boat, and a Yakima HullRaiser J-rack for the other. This "multinational" rack system works extremely well.

Purchased this roof rack system after research and comparison. It installed without difficulty and it works with my ski rack and bicycle rack from different vendors. I've received many "looks good" comments. ORS offered this product at a price that the local "beat any price outfitter" couldn't match and their customer service is top notch too. Will not hesitate to purchase additional products from them.

The instructions were easy to follow and install is very simple to perform. I use the rack to carry two perception kayaks and they fit great. I remove racks when not in use and removal and replacement is done in a flash. I purchased the fairing and the rack system is very quiet.

When I decided to buy this product, I wasn't sure if it would work/fit with my car since it's a small subcompact. I was wrong. This product is durable, looks very nice (especially with the Inno fairing) and was fairly easy to install. The only problem I had with the directions is that they were not quite detailed enough. However, it still only took me about an hour to put the whole thing together. On a scale of 10, I'd give this product a 10.

The Inno IN-SU roof rack system came with easy to install instructions - I was able to install on my vehicle under 1 hour. It carries my existing cargo box just fine. When I take the cargo box off, it looks sweet with the extra wind fairing accessory. My only qualms has nothing to do with the rack system: (1) my vehicle's roof doesn't allow me to spread out the 2 cross bars more to carry a much longer item (canoe, etc.) for more stability; (2) I had a little difficulty installing the wind fairing due to wrong screw plugs (ORS Rack Direct hooked me up w/ replacement parts within the week - excellent service!)

Erica Z. asks - What is the maximum load rating, how much weight can the Inno IN-SU hold?
ORS Crew answers - The weight limit is 165 lbs, or possibly less depending on your specific vehicle. You can determine your vehicle's rooftop weight limit by checking the vehicle owner's manual or using our Inno Racks Fit Guide which will provide the 'MaxLoad' weight limit for the roof rack on your specific vehicle year/make/model (which for the Inno IN-SU roof rack system will be either 165 lbs or possibly less depending on what your vehicle's rooftop weight limit is).
rpmIII asks - I need a 2008 Land Rover LR2 roof rack. This Land Rover LR2 model has no current rail system. Will the Inno roof rack system work?
ORS Racks Direct crew answers - Yes. INSU fits the 08 Land Rover LR2. Select the B147 58" length bars. You'll also get a set of the K353 Fit Hooks. FYI, the large fairing is the correct size if interested in a wind fairing.

BRINSKY3 answers - Yeah I use the Inno IN-SU system for my 2009 Hyundai Elantra roof rack base system. The B127 50 inch bars are the right length for the 09 Elantra. You have enough room to then attach any cargo box and bike carrier to the cross bars.

ORS Racks Direct answers - The Inno IN-SU roof rack system is exactly what you need for the 2009 Ford F150 super cab (extended cab). The B147 58" cross bars are the recommended crossbar length for the F-150 cab roof. The Inno K530 Fit Hooks are the correct Inno Fit Hooks also (ORS Racks Direct gathers all your specific vehicle year/make/model info at order checkout to ensure you recieve the correct Fit Hooks).
Fab_Lau asks - Will the Inno IN-SU car rack system work on a 2007 BMW 3-series 4-door sedan?
ORS Crew answers - As of this writing (7/24/2010) Inno Racks does not have a fit for this vehicle. Currently, excellent 2007 BMW 3 series roof rack options include the Thule 460 Podium car rack and Thule 460R Rapid Podium car rack systems. You can always check our Inno Racks fit guide (see below) from time to time to see if there are any updates on a solution for the 2007 BMW 3 Series sedan.
Michaelb1 asks - I have a 2001 Honda Odyssey and a 2007 Honda Civic. I need a roof rack capable of carrying multiple surf boards that i can easily take off and put on either of my vehicles. Will this one work for me?
ORS Racks Direct crew answers - Yes this will work as both a 2001 Honda Odyssey car rack (if there is currently no factory rack on it) and a 2007 Honda Civic roof rack. You will need to get a separate set of K-Hooks though (the Odyssey uses the K214 Fit Hooks and the Civic uses the K326 Fit Hooks. You can then attach any surfboard racks to the INSU cross bars.
Thomas asks - Will the Inno IN-SU roof rack system work for a 2008 Saturn Vue with no factory side rails and no rain gutters?
ORS Crew answers - Yes this will work superbly as a 2008 Saturn Vue car rack. It uses the K567 Fit Hooks and we will be sure to include those with your order (the B127 50" crossbars are also the recommended length for the '08 Saturn Vue).
JackBoy asks - I noticed Yakima and Thule have no car rack available for use as a 2011 Dodge Caliber roof rack, but want to confirm before ordering that this system does work? Also what fairing size would I need?
ORS Crew answers - Absolutely, go with the Inno IN-SU roof rack system for using as a 2011 Dodge Caliber car rack. You will receive everything needed for a multi-purpose base rack system (includes the K555 Fit Hooks, which are specifically made for the '11 Caliber, and the B127 50" length crossbars are recommended). You can then attach any gear carriers from any manufacturer to the universally compatible crossbars. Also, if you want to use a wind fairing the small size Inno fairing is the one you will want for your vehicle.
