Perfect SUP Rack!

I researched several racks and their reviews, and I decided on this INNO rack. I'm so happy I did! I'm able to fit my SUP (10'6", 31 inches wide, and 6 inches thick) and my brother's Nalu SUP / Kayak(11' and 8 inches thick), which is a lot bigger board, at the same time. Its very easy to install. Also it's great that it has a lock, so I can leave it on top of my car and not worry about it getting stolen. Love it!

This rack is awesome. I bought it a month or so ago for my longboards and use it all the time. It was easy to get on, is easy to use and works perfect for my surfboards. I could not be happier and would highly recommend it to anyone. The locking mechanism is great and leaves me at ease at the end of the day when I just want to lock up my boards and go for a swim or something without worrying about whether someone is going to run off with my boards. I bought this rack, instead of the other smaller Inno surfboard rack, because I knew it would have enough room for my two longboards and also in case I ever wanted to haul a kayak or canoe. If you think you might ever want to haul a kayak I would suggest doing that as it works great for longboards / surfboard too. I have Yakima round bar Q-tower racks and bought the adaptors for attaching this rack to them, but I did not need them it comes with its own adaptors, so save yourself the money. Other than that buy this rack it is awesome.

Purchased this rack after trying much less expensive - and total failure - versions by popular rack manufacturer. This rack is amazingly simple to use - it makes taking my board out for a quick paddle after work so easy I am paddling almost daily! And the locking system is an added perk. If you SUP - get this rack system!

I just got back from a long trip.....and this rack held my paddle board like a rock! Not a wiggle or a waggle...AND it locks! It is so easy to use that I now paddle alot more because it just takes minute to get the paddleboard atop my car, and I can even make some stops along the way without worries. Easy to use......It is just great!

The INA444 transports our canoe safely and it is lockable, which keeps us from worrying about it when we need to take your eyes off the thing. That is the best thing about it. From what I can tell, this is the best locking canoe carrier option available. It’s a little hard to get the boat in and out from under the straps, but we feel the hassle is worth it for the security. Very pleased so far.

When it comes to kayak and canoe carriers, there aren’t a lot of options out there, especially when it comes to locking canoe carriers. Most options for a canoe are a set of L brackets and some kind of cable lock thing. Inno has developed an impressive product in the INA444. Tightening the boat down with the ratcheting straps works great, and the boat feels totally secure. It’s nice that it fits factory bars as well. I use it for carrying both a canoe and kayak (at separate times) and it works great on both kinds of boats.

Good product. Works great although cables could be a bit beefier to help prevent theft although no problems yet. Highly recommend. Much sturdier than soft racks.

ORS Crew says - The Inno INA714 long bolts kit is required for attaching this carrier to specific oversized fat/thick factory rack cross bars including Nissan XTerra factory bars, Nissan Frontier factory bars etc.
ORS Crew says - Besides carrying a kayak or canoe, the INA444 is a superb SUP stand-up paddle board rack, as well as great for both long and short surfboards and windsurfers too.
ORS Crew says - Most Inno gear carriers (including the INA444), when mounting to Yakima base rack system round cross bars, are recommended to use the Inno ISF715 round bar adapter kit. This will eliminate the possible rolling or slight slippage caused by the round bar when not transporting anything on the gear carrier. You can, of course, mount any Inno carriers directly to a round bar but when not in use they may have a tendency to roll slightly.
Matt Merrill asks - What is the maximum width SUP board that can be used with this?
ORS Crew answers - There is no maximum width for this carrier, you can distance the mounting clamp/ratchet assemblies as far apart from each other on the crossbar as needed to accommodate whatever width your standup paddleboards are (or kayak, canoe etc.)
Michael Peachey asks - Does this rack make much wind noise when it's on top of your car, but not loaded?
M. Baird answers - I have no issues with wind noise whatsoever with this carrier mounted to my Acura MDX factory rack crossbars.
Steve D. asks - Will this carrier work with my Toyota FJ Cruiser factory roof rack cross rails?
ORS Crew answers - Yes the Inno INA444 will mount directly to the Toyota FJ Cruiser factory rack bars.
NEVETSJB asks - I currently have the Inno INA744 surfboard rack and it works great for my 6'2" shortboard. I recently purchased a SUP and need to upgrade to the Inno INA444 SUP rack. Will I still be able to transport my 6'2" shortboard tightly and safely or will the SUP rack be too large to transport a board this small?
ORS Crew answers - With the Inno INA444 you can adjust the width of the rack to any distance and will fit your boards. The surfboard would be fine with this rack.
