The Inno INA451 Cradle Set is the must have accessory for loading kayaks onto kayak stacker style carrying systems. Acts as a very effective stopper that prevents kayaks from sliding down kayak stacker upright posts while loading kayaks and strapping them down. Also completely stabilizes kayak during transport. Packaged as a pair of cradles for mounting to the front and rear roof rack cross bars.

Works great with Yakima Big Stack kayak stacker. Hold kayaks in place while loading and transporting them on their side. A must-have product!!!

I read previous reviews about the Yakima BigStack kayak rack that said they did not hold two or more kayaks very safely. However, with these Inno cradles, I carried the two 13.5' kayaks at 80 mph with no problems at all. (I could see how there could be issues if you you tried to carry using the BigStacks or Thule's Stacker Racks without these cradles.)

ORS Crew says - The Inno INA-716 long bolts kit is required for attaching these cradles to specific oversized fat/thick factory rack cross bars including Nissan XTerra factory bars, Nissan Frontier factory bars etc.
Len asks - Will the INA451 Cradle Set work to carry a canoe by attaching sets to front and rear cross bars of the factory roof rack for my 2005 Lexus 330?
ORS Racks Direct crew answers - Ha, we never thought of that but, yes sir, that will indeed work for carrying a canoe. They do work as canoe gunwale brackets. Like you said, attach two pairs to your 2005 Lexus 330 roof rack factory bars. Then strap the canoe down with a pair of rack straps, bow & stern tie downs are a good idea too, and you are good to go!
Philip asks - Will this product fit Yakima round bars right out of the box?
ORS Crew answers - Most Inno gear carriers (including the INA451 Cradles), when mounting to Yakima base rack system round cross bars, are recommended to use the Inno ISF715 round bar adapter kit. This will eliminate the possible rolling or slight slippage caused by the round bar when not transporting anything on the gear carrier. You can, of course, mount any Inno carriers (including the INA451 Cradles) directly to a round bar but when not in use they may have a tendency to roll slightly.

The Inno ISF716 Long Bolt Kit (sold separately; see accessory add-ons above) is required for mounting these cradles onto extra fat / thick factory rack crossbars such as the Nissan XTerra factory cross bars, Nissan Frontier cross bars etc.
When mounting onto Yakima roof rack round crossbars we highly recommend the Inno ISF715 bolt kit for Yakima round bars (sold separately; see accessory add-ons above). Prevents the cradles from ever rotating on the round bars.
