I drive 70 miles round trip to work, and leave my rack on most of the year. This helped lessen the wind noise coming from my OEM crossbars. The fairing installation was a breeze, and I haven't had any issues with it since putting it on. I would recommend this to anyone looking at getting a fairing.

After having factory cross bars installed on my Mazda crossover, I was struggling for several months with annoying wind noise when driving at +50 mph. Thule or Yakima fairings would not do the job as they would only fit Thule bars and round bars respectively. I was about to give up the search when finally found this Inno fairing that would fit virtually any kind of rack/bar. Ordered it, received it in about a week, installed it myself in less than 15 minutes (all required installation accessories and fitting gadgets come with the fairing), and the annoying sound is now completely gone. I at last regained peace and silence while driving, with the added functionality of the rack/crossbars. Besides eliminating the wind noise, the fairing adds a nice sporty look which goes along well with the vehicle's style.

ORS Crew explains - All the Inno Fairings are 4.5 inches tall. The small fairing is 31" long, medium is 40" long and large is 48" long.
ORS Crew explains - For vehicles with factory racks attached to side rails, when determining the proper fairing size for the factory crossbar, measure the distance from the points the crossbar attaches to the side rails on each side. The Inno INA260 small-size fairing fits distances 31" - 40", the Inno INA261 medium-size fairing fits distances 40" - 48", Inno INA262 large-size fairing fits distances 48" and greater.

BM asks - Thinking about an Inno fairing for my 2010 Subaru Forester X. I have the factory crossbars only, with a Yakima Powderhound ski rack on top and am getting CONSIDERABLE wind noise at 50+ mph. The sizing guide says to use a 31 inch, but it seems like the 40 inch would be more appropriate (as the "silver part" of the crossbar itself is around 40 inches). Which size do you think is best, and will this Inno Fairing be compatible with what I have/solve my wind noise problem?
ORS Racks Direct crew responds - That sounds like a very tight fit, and this is probably why Inno Racks decided on the small size in this situation. But if the total measurement of the crossbar from the inside of each side rail is at least 40" then this should fit. You can always trim the fairing edges if that what it takes to make a perfect fit. Fairings are designed to eliminate that rack noise that can randomly occur. You'll be happy with how effective the fairing takes care of this issue.
Tony asks - What size for a 2001 VW GTI factory rack? Front factory bars measure about 39 inches.
