The j-style Malone AutoLoader Kayak Rack (MPG106MD) is designed to transport all shapes and sizes of kayaks. The included proprietary Malone Racks Jawz universal mounting hardware allows the Malone Auto Loader kayak rack to quickly connect to all styles of aftermarket roof rack systems including Thule Racks load bars (square, oval Rapid Aero & Xsporter truck rack), Inno Racks crossbars, Whispbar aero bars and Yakima Racks round bars. Plus the two sizes of included attachment bolts allow the AutoLoader Xv kayak carrier to mount to virtually all factory rack cross bars (for certain specific very large / oversized factory crossbars such as Nissan XTerra, the Malone MPG364 80mm long bolt kit is required; not included, see accessory add-ons below). The original j-cradle style kayak carrier to include an integrated down-sloping boarding ramp on each cradle for easier loading of kayak. For easiest kayak loading & unloading we highly recommend the Malone Telos kayak lift assist (sold separately; see accessory add-ons below). Malone Telos attaches to the AutoLoader cradles.
The efficient semi-vertical, j-cradle design of the Malone Auto Loader uses up less base rack crossbar space than other kayak racks that transport a kayak flat, providing plenty of room to attach other gear carriers at the same time, including extra Malone AutoLoader kayak carriers if you plan to haul multiple kayaks. Compatible with virtually all kayak styles including recreational, whitewater, ocean / sea kayaks etc. Holds any kayak up to 32" wide and 70 lbs. Includes front and rear Malone AutoLoader j-cradles, all universal mounting hardware (including 2 sets of attachment bolt sizes for virtually any crossbar shape), two 12' heavy-duty cam-buckle load straps, two bow & stern safety tie-downs and detailed install instructions. No tools required for installation!
- Constructed of ultra-strong, long-lasting and corrosion proof polycarbon with ribbed synthetic rubber padding. Will not corrode from sea salt or other harsh elements of nature, unlike competitors' models made of metal.

ORS Racks Direct Crew says - Holds up to 70 lbs. and up to 32" wide kayaks. J-cradle dimensions are 6"(W) x 17"(L) x 16"(H).
ORS Racks Direct Crew says - Malone Racks work great on oversize factory crossbars too. Includes two complete sets of 50mm and 60mm mounting bolts with T-knobs. You'll use the longer bolts with oversize bars. The instructions manual outlines this for you.

ORS Crew answers - No. In this case, you'll want to go with a kayak saddles style carrier. The Malone Saddle Up Pro is a good carrier for the extra-large Hobie kayak.
Ned asks - I have a 2010 Honda CRV factory rack and I want to carry 2 small 10ft kayaks. Will 2 of these carriers fit?
ORS Crew answers - Yes, attaching 2 sets of the AutoLoaders directly to your 2010 Honda CR-V factory rack cross rails is an excellent option for transporting your two boats.
Nikki asks - Can I put two of these on the 2008 Nissan XTerra factory rack for carrying two kayaks? Is there enough room on the crossbars for two sets? Also do I need longer mounting bolts or anything to fit the really big crossbars?
ORS Crew answers - Yes two sets of these on the 2008 Nissan Xterra factory crossbars is an ideal set up for efficiently carrying two kayaks. Please note that you will also need to use the Malone MPG364 80mm long bolt kit for mounting the carrier to the oversize-large diameter 2008 Nissan XTerra factory bars (order two sets of the Malone MPG364 80mm long bolt kits so you can mount two Malone AutoLoader kayak racks.
Koochers asks - I have an 08 Honda Element and want to carry 2 kayaks on the roof with 2 Malone Racks MPG106MD Auto Loader Xv j-cradles kayak racks. I have installed the Honda Element orig equip factory rack crossbars, which the Malone racks will bolt to. The weight of the two kayaks will be a total of 110 lbs. Does anyone have any experience with the OEM Honda racks to know if they are sturdy enough?
ORS Crew answers - Yes you are good to go with using two sets of these carriers for your 2 kayaks. The 2008 Honda Element factory rack crossbars have a load rating of 165 lbs.

We recommend either the Kayak Lasso, SteelCore lock straps or the Lashlock kayak lock system (not included; see accessory add-ons above) to protect your boat from theft.
Includes 2 kayak j-cradles, all mounting hardware, pair of 12 ft. heavy-duty cam-buckle load straps and pair of bow / stern tie-down straps for total transport safety.
