Includes universal clamping hardware that allows the Malone Katahdin gear basket to connect directly to virtually all factory roof racks with crossbars, as well as any aftermarket car rack systems including any Thule Racks, Inno Racks and Yakima Racks multi-purpose base rack system cross bars. Includes front wind fairing for sleek, aerodynamic design styling and also serves as a bug shield. Also includes nylon shock cord style cargo net to fully secure and stabilize basket contents during transit.
The Malone MPG311 Katahdin car roof top gear basket is perfectly sized to look great on any size vehicle, from small 2-door cars, sedans and 2-door pickup truck cabs on up to station wagons, vans, minivans, extended cab / quad cab pickup trucks and SUV's. We highly recommend either the LashLock or SteelCore locking straps (not included; see accessory add-ons above) for maximum security of cargo roof basket and basket contents when left unattended.
Connecting a roof bag (not included; see accessory add-ons above) to the basket is also a great way to organize gear and protect from foul weather.
