The Malone Stax Pro Kayak Rack - MPG111MD offers the convenience of kayak stacker design for carrying up to 4 kayaks on their sides, as well as fold down technology for the kayak stacker upright posts when not in use. The Malone Stax Pro kayak carrier includes the Malone Universal JAWZ mounting hardware for attaching directly to virtually all factory rack crossbars, as well as all styles of aftermarket roof rack systems including Thule Racks load bars (square, oval Rapid Aero & Xsporter truck rack), Inno Racks square cross bars, Yakima Racks round bars, Whispbar aero bars etc. A very affordable way to carry a kayak efficiently and conserving car rack crossbar space for additional kayaks or other gear carriers. Works with any kayak size, style and shape kayak up to 80 lbs each and 32" wide each.
The Malone Racks Stax Pro kayak stacker is a very affordable way to carry up to 4 kayaks on car roof tops. By transporting the boats on their sides stacked next to each other, it is possible to carry up to 4 kayaks on any car rack crossbars. Easy loading, simply place 2 kayaks on each side of kayak stacker upright posts. Everything included for multiple boat transport, two premium heavy duty aluminum & nylon constructed upright kayak stacker posts, all Malone JAWZ universal crossbar mounting hardware, two 12' heavy-duty cam-buckle load straps and pair of bow & stern tie-down straps (Please note, the pair of rack straps will hold up to 2 kayaks placed on the same side of the kayak stacker upright posts. For carrying additional kayaks on the other side you will need to purchase another pair of rack straps, see accessory add-ons below. Also the pair of included bow & stern tie-down straps will secure the front and rear of one kayak only. You will need to purchase additional bow & stern tie-downs for securing each additional boat, see accessory add-ons below). No tools required for installation!

I really like the Stax Pro set-up I've got (combined with Thule base rack crossbars). It easily will hold 4 kayaks on my Ford Explorer, with Thule base rack bars. I've had 3 up on many occasions. The only tough part is getting the straps through the top of the Stax Pro. Since I'm short, I have to use the rear step bumper and sometimes reach up through the open moon roof, but where there's a will there's a way. The Malone Stax Pro creates a rigid, road worthy set-up that I trust, at a price that is reasonable. Thanks Malone and ORS!

We recommend either the SteelCore lock straps, Kayak Lasso or the Lashlock kayak lock system (not included; see accessory add-ons above) to protect your boat from theft.
