The Rocky Mounts Short Tray bicycle rack attaches securely to a multi-purpose roof base rack system from either Thule or Yakima (connects to the Yakima round cross bars or Thule square load bars). All mounting hardware included. Rocky Mounts lock cores are sold separately (see accessories below). Note that Thule & Yakima lock cores do not work with RockyMount bicycle carriers. Black only.
IMPORTANT This can be used on cars with crossbar spreads between 36 and 43 inches. (Note: It has little to do with the bike, most bicycle wheel bases are around 39 inches) Most cars today have limited crossbar spreads, and the long tray is required. The short tray is two pieces, and instead of the tray spanning both crossbars, there is a short 8" tray that bolts to the rear crossbar. Measure your base rack cross bar spread before ordering the short tray.
