Bikes can really clutter up a garage or basement and when stacked against each other leaning against a wall, they can easily get scratched and dinged. The Saris Cycle Glide ceiling mount bike storage rack solves this problem by storing your bikes hanging from the ceiling, saving floor space and keeping your bikes safe from harm. Each bike hangs from wheel hooks mounted to a glider that slides along a set of tracks, allowing you to pack bikes tight for compact storage while making it easy to get plenty of room between the bikes for hassle free loading and unloading. Four bikes up to 50 lbs each can be loaded on the Cycle Glide with an additional two bikes using the Cycle Glide 2-Bike Add On Kit (sold separately) for a total of six bikes stored conveniently on the ceiling, above your cars, lawnmower, or other stuff.
  • Excellent bike storage system frees up floor space in your garage and basement

  • Adjustable wheel hooks accommodate a wide range of wheel base

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Item arrived in time as promised. Assembly took a bit of a challenge, finding the garage studs, marking the drill holes and installing the frames to the ceiling. One thing that I've read from people who purchased this ceiling mount system, is that you are better off using an ordinary wood stud screw with wider threads. Or just use the provided screw and not bother to align to the frame hole at all. This would have saved me a couple of hours installation. I understand it's convenient to be able to just slide the frame on/off the ceiling , but when and how often would you do that? Besides, the margin for error was pretty slim when aligning the screw head to the frame hole along the length. I just fixed the frame into the ceiling and the rest of the installation was quick enough. Once installed the system worked as I expected.I like the convenience of being able to slide the bikes in both directions. I had to secure the frames with a couple more screws near the ends. This is because I normally wold slide the bikes to the farther edge, near the wall of the garage to keep it out of the way. Overall, a great product, albeit a bit pricey, but the discount with ORS sold me to it.
