The A30902 SportRack 4EZ Hitch Mount Platform Bike Rack is a hitch bike rack that packs many features of other leading platform hitch bike racks that are listed at twice the price of the SportRack A30902 4EZ Hitch Platform Bike Rack! Transports up to 4 bikes and arrives ready to mount to any 2 inch trailer receiver hitch! (The SportRack A30901 2EZ Hitch Bike Rack is also available for transporting 2 bikes on any 1.25" or 2" trailer hitch.) The SportRack 4EZ accommodates virtually all styles of bicycles - including kids and womens bikes to bmx, freeride and downhill mountain bikes, not to mention hybrid and road bikes. The center posts conveniently tilt down and away for total access to the rear of your vehicle. Load each bike super fast with the ultra snug gripping frame hook and wheel hoops that quickly adjust to virtually all bike lengths and bike wheel sizes. We decided to get a hitch rack for our bikes rather than a roof top system. Price was one of the reasons, but ease of loading was the biggest reason. We have had experiences with a lot of hitch racks that use the arms to support the bikes, and were concerned that loading four bikes would be difficult, especially with our kids bikes. The Sportrack appealed to us because of the way that the bikes are held in place. You just place the wheels in the wheel loops and push the frame support down. It is much easier than trying to cram them all against each other like on the other style. Unloading bikes is easy as well. This is a great product and highly recommended to families.
