The ABR511 SportRack J Stacker kayak rack delivers an easy to use and convenient j-cradle style kayak loading/unloading design. The SportRack J Stacker uses up much less crossbar space than conventional kayak racks that carry the kayak laying flat on kyak saddles, instead the SportRack J Stacker carries the kayak semi-vertically on its side using up much less roof rack cross bar space to allow attaching another J Stacker or other gear carriers. Works with all types of kayak shapes - sea, ocean, whitewater, tandem kayaks and more. The Sport Rack ABR511 J Stacker kayak carrier mounts directly to all Thule roof rack load bars (square, oval Rapid Aero & Xsporter truck rack), Inno Racks square cross bars, Yakima round crossbars and virtually all factory roof rack crossbars. Includes both front and rear fully padded j-cradles and all mounting, safety & stability hardware including universal car rack crossbar mounting clamps, 2 heavy-duty straps with cam-buckles and a pair of bow & stern tie downs with galvanized steel bumper hooks to secure kayak to the front and rear of the vehicle.

Universally mounts to virtually all factory racks as well as aftermarket multi-purpose base roof rack systems including Thule Racks, Inno Racks and Yakima Racks cross bars. Because j-cradle style carriers transport kayaks semi-vertically on their sides, they use up less car rack crossbar space than kayak saddle style carriers. This complete Sport Rack kayak rack system attaches directly to virtually all styles of roof rack cross bars including factory rack bars, all types of Thule Racks load bars (square, elliptical Rapid Aero & Xsporter truck rack bars), Inno Racks crossbars and Yakima Racks round bars.
If loading kayak from the rear of the vehicle we highly recommend the Thule 854 Water Slide Mat (not included; see accessory add-ons above) for simultaneously protecting your vehicle and also gaining extra assistance when loading and unloading a boat.
