This Sport Racks basket is great, especially for the price. The mounting hardware worked great and it mounted perfectly on my crossbars. Once I had it installed, I immediately put it to use and it did an amazing job holding my stuff, but then again, it is just a metal basket. The fairing does a good job of keeping the bugs from splatting on the gear and also gives it a stylish look. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a rooftop basket and is on a budget. With the money you save, you can buy the organizer bag and stretch net, which in fact are very useful and do a great job of keeping everything from flying out of there.

Includes universal mounting hardware for connecting to virtually all factory roof racks with cross bars as well as to any aftermarket car rack systems including any Thule Racks, Inno Racks and Yakima Racks multi-purpose base rack systems.
We highly recommend either the LashLock or SteelCore locking straps (not included; see accessory add-ons above) for maximum security of cargo roof basket and basket contents when left unattended.
