The complete Thule 300 Gutter Foot car roof rack system is a rock solid and simple multi-purpose base rack solution for cars, pickup trucks and vans with rain gutters. Installs quickly and easily, each Thule 300 Gutter Foot clamps down and very securely grabs onto the vehicle raingutters. The Thule 300 Feet are designed to also fully adjust to non-parallel raingutters, curved rain gutters etc. We highly recommend a four pack of Thule Locks (not included; see accessory add-ons below) to lock the rack to vehicle.
The Thule 300 RainGutter complete roof rack system includes all 2 components that are necessary for installing a general-purpose base rack on your vehicle's roof top, providing the platform that will allow you to then connect roof mount gear carriers that carry your gear and equipment:
- Four (4) Thule 300 Gutter Feet.
- Two (2) Thule square load bars (bar end caps included).
Thule 300 Foot gutter mount roof rack offers 5" of clearance above raingutters. Also available are the:

Provides a secure fit, even on cars, vans and pickup trucks with narrow rain gutter styles. Protective surfaces on rack prevent shifting and protect car's paint. Works with all types of vehicle raingutters and fully adjusts to line up with raingutters that are out of parallel, curved etc. Easy-to-follow installation instructions manual included. Includes 4 heavy-duty, lockable knobs, which enable the rack to lock to the vehicle using a four pack of Thule Racks One Key System lock cylinders (not included; see accessory add-ons below). No Drilling!

Works great! Easy to install and easy to mount originally and best of all....NO drilling in my Jeep Wrangler Hard Top or body of Jeep like so many other choices out there! I was very much opposed to drilling ANY holes whatsoever and this works great. Mounts to the drip rail on the Hard Top of the Jeep. Perfect!

(also reviewing Thule 542 Artificial Raingutter Brackets) Received all components in time expected. I mounted the 542 brackets to the upper outsides of my topper. I used the windows on each side as references to get them level & even. Installing the mounts is the only thing about this system that requires any precision. If you've got square/level references to go off of this is a sinch. Without them I could see this being pretty a challenging install. Once assembled system is solid, I have not had to retighten anything or had any shift.
