The premium Thule 556BLK Car Rack Pads are durable vinyl car roof rack pads that offer great protection for kayaks, canoes, surfboards, windsurfers / sailboards, stand-up paddle boards and any other gear load that would otherwise rest directly on the roof rack crossbars. Compatible with any Thule Racks base roof rack system load bars (both Thule Rapid Aero elliptical bars and square load bars) as well as Inno Car Rack square cross bars and Yakima Racks round bars. Constructed of high grade, durable foam padding with weather-restant / water-resistant vinyl sleeve. Black color. Packaged as a pair.
- Recommended for use with kayak stacker style kayak racks, surfboard racks etc. for extra protection of equipment when loading and transporting.
- Thule 556BLK Pads also work as a simple, economical gear carrier solution for SUP stand up paddle boards, surfboards, sailboards etc. when used in combination with a pair of Thule Heavy Duty Straps (sold separately; see accessory add-ons below).
- Pads are 16" in length for flexible and versatile configurations.
