The premium Thule 558P Tandem Bike Rack offers the industry's quickest mounting car roof top tandem bike rack design. Unique pivoting fork mount design easily enables one person to load the tandem bicycle onto the Thule 558P tandem bike rack. Attaches directly to Thule square load bars, Inno Car Rack crossbars and Yakima round cross bars (not compatible with factory racks or Thule oval Rapid Aero bars / Xsporter truck rack etc). Works equally well as a long wheel base recumbent bicycle rack. Compatible with disc brakes too. We recommend purchasing a Thule Cable Lock (not included; see accessory add-ons below) for locking the tandem bicycle to the bike rack.

A Premium Tandem Rack

We recently purchased a Thule Tandem bike rack for our car. It is very durable and easy to use. The fork mount pivots so that you can lock the fork mount down before lifting the rest of the bike which is a very good thing because our Honda Element is quite tall. We use the rack quite often and have had good luck so far. Would recommend the 558 tandem rack to anyone with a tandem bike.
