The Thule 593 Wheel-On bike wheel holder is loaded with features to ensure your bike wheel travels safely to your destination and is easy to remove when you arrive. Fully adjustable fork mount wheel holder that allows you to carry your removed bike wheel, from a fork mounted bike rack, up on top of your car roof rack. Fits Thule Xsporter truck rack system, Thule square and Rapid Aero load bars, Inno Car Rack crossbars and Yakima Racks round bars. Also fits any euro-style Votex rack cross bars. Compatible with factory racks with the use of the Thule 532 Ride On factory car rack adapter (sold separately; see accessory add-ons below).
- The Thule 593 fits all bike wheel sizes, 24" kids bike wheels & bmx wheels on up to mountain bike wheels and road bike wheels. Even fits today's large diameter 29er mountain bike wheels.

My old Thule wheel carriers had my wheels spinning and twisting back and forth at any speed over 30 mph. Thule Racks got it right this time. These are rock solid. No more spinning or vibrating wheels. They fit everything from skinny 700c road wheels to super-wide 29er tires. The long, forward-facing dropout slots, stiff fork, and tire pad make these bombproof. Also, the mechanism to raise and lower the fork is much improved. Just a quick twist of the knob, and you're all set. My only two complaints are that they are larger than I expected and take up quite a bit of real estate on your crossbars. And a boy can dream can't he? I wish they could carry my 15mm thru axle wheels. That would be very difficult, though.

Just like the Thule 518 Echelon bike rack I also ordered, the 593 is an exceptional product. Holds the bike tire securely and is easy to load and unload it. Also, ORS has outstanding customer service. I will do business with them again.

ORS Crew answers - Yes it fits all 29er bike wheels including those with a 15mm thru axle.
mr. electric asks - I just bought a 15mm through axle set up, is there an adapter so I can still use this wheel holder?
ORS Crew answers - Unfortunately the 593 won’t work for thru-axles. Thule started offering thru-axle adapters for fork mount carriers but that still requires the consumer to put the wheel in the car.
