The Thule Boxter cargo carrier is a two-toned beauty that has a whopping 18 cubic feet cargo capacity and can carry up to 110 lbs. My wife & I love it! While driving, you're not even aware that it's there at any speed - so much that I accidentally ALMOST "took it off" upon my arrival at our Sunset Beach house while pulling into a very low-hanging area underneath beach house. It's very easy to mount, load & unload. This rooftop carrier is truly beautiful, functional & provides an additional 18 cubic feet of storage. It opens on either side very easily with key provided. ORS Racks Direct had the cheapest price and freight. Thanks!

I love it! It went up easy with two people, and the knobs on the inside make it easy to secure to the rooftop. It doesn't make any noise going down the freeway at high speeds. It opens on either side very easily with the key. Looks great, and functions well. Oh, they drop shipped it from Chicago-ordered it on Thursday and received it early the next week! ORS Racks Direct had t cheapest price and freight at that time too, Thanks guys!
By Far the Best Cargo Carrier I've Ever Had!

The Boxster is by far the most beautiful cartop cargo carrier I have ever owned. But the incredible quality and function of this box is nothing short of astonishing. I use it on my Volvo V70 roofrack. The installation hardware is very impressive as the box attached in seconds. It's also easy to remove the box if I want to store it when not using it for long periods of time. I carry skis and snowboards and other ski gear in the winter and luggage and camping equipment in the summer. I also find it useful for groceries and other shopping bags when the dogs are with me in the car. The one-handed convenience when opening and closing is a feature I really appreciate after having to use two hands for years on other cargo carriers I've owned. The lid closes very securely every time too, no flimsyness or difficulty latching. I highly recommend the Thule Boxter cargo carrier to others.

S. Chan asks - I want to use the 611 to carry skis, luggage etc. Not sure if I need anything other than just the 611 to install on my 2011 Acura MDX factory roof rack cross rails?
ORS Crew answers - Nice choice for a 2011 Acura MDX cargo box. No additional components needed, you can mount the Boxter directly to the Acura MDX factory rack cross bars.
Brian Tate asks - It says the Boxter 611 holds skis and snowboards. How are they all held in place? Is there an accessory that secures the skis and snowboards?
ORS Crew answers - It does include 3 cargo box straps that you can use to strap down and secure all skis and snowboards in place so they do not slide around while in transit. The straps also work well for securing all cargo gear. The instructions manual (see the link on the Boxter product page) illustrates use of the roof box straps.

This car roof mount luggage / cargo box connects directly to all styles of Thule base rack load bars, Yakima multi-purpose base rack round crossbars, Inno roof rack bars and virtually all factory roofrack cross bars. At order checkout we will obtain your vehicle year/make/model info to ensure this cargo carrier is compatible.
We offer 2 fulfillment options for cargo boxes:
1) Shipment by freight to residential/commercial addresses
2) In-store pickup.

1) For Shipments to Residential and Commercial Addresses
(choose delivery method of “SHIPS VIA FREIGHT”)
PLEASE NOTE: An additional freight charge of $50.00 will be added to your order as this item cannot be shipped via UPS/Fed Ex due to its oversize dimensions and must be shipped via freight & we ask that you please allow up to 2-3 weeks for delivery of this item. For your convenience this item ships directly to both residential and commercial business addresses, please supply either a residential or commercial business address for delivery at checkout. Please inspect your Cargo/Gear Box before signing and accepting delivery (this means removal from the cardboard carton and inspection for any visible damage as well as function of hinges/lid supports/locks) from freight company as ORS Racks Direct cannot accept returns or damage claims of these items after delivery has been accepted by the customer. If the box is damaged and unacceptable please refuse delivery with the LTL Freight company and contact us for resolution. If you have any questions concerning shipping and/or delivery please contact us, we're glad to help!

$50.00 freight charge will be waived. 6% Vermont Sales Tax WILL apply.
