Great for carrying light-weight and bulky articles. Makes it easier to bring an extra passenger and their luggage. Hold things that you don't want in your car or your trunk.

Great Inexpensive Solution

This is a good box for the price. We drove coast to coast, and we hit plenty of rain. Bottom line, for a fairly inexpensive solution to needing extra space, this is a good choice, and certainly better than a roof bag in my opinion, and only a bit more expensive.

This was perfect for our trip to the coast. We were able to stash the stroller, beach toys, toy trucks and other dirty things that we didn’t want in our car or that would have taken up all the space in our trunk. Assembly was easy. We had rain for about 200 miles but everything stayed dry inside. Highly recommend it as a great buy.

ORS Crew answers - Yes it works as a 2011 Nissan Rogue cargo-luggage box and connects directly to the factory rack crossbars. It uses a classic U bolt and wing knobs fastening system to attach to the bars. The installation instructions (link available on the Thule 682 SideKick product page) illustrate exactly how this works.

KD asks - Will the 682 fit on the 2010 Honda CRV factory installed crossbars?

ORS Crew answers - Yes that is a confirmed fit, the 682 SideKick is a great match for the 2010 Honda CRV factory rack cross bars.

Michele Peters asks - Will this fit on a Lincoln Navigator? How does it attach?

ORS Crew answers - Yes, as long as the Lincoln Navigator has a roof rack with two cross bars (also called crossrails) you are all set. It quickly attaches using the included U-bolt brackets and wing knobs. The bottom of the box includes multiple mounting holes allowing you to select the mounting holes that perfectly match the positions of the Lincoln Navigator's two cross rails. If you only have factory side rails (the two bars that run parallel to each other on the sides of the rooftop from front to back) you can always install the Thule 45050 CrossRoad roof rack system to the side rails, and you will then have the cross rails to attach the roof box to.
