The Thule 682 SideKick roof mount cargo box is a versatile luggage box - perfectly suited to carrying anything from beach supplies, camping gear and luggage to golf clubs. Plenty of room left over on your roof rack for loading bikes, kayak or skis next to the roof box. Includes Thule lock cylinder and keys for security. 8 cubic foot capacity. Fits directly to both Thule base rack square bars and Rapid Aero load bars, Thule Xsporter pickup truck racks, Yakima round bars, Inno Car Rack crossbars and factory installed roof racks with cross bars (If you have a factory rack we recommend using our Thule fit guide, see above or below, to view Sidekick compatibility.)

Great for carrying light-weight and bulky articles. Makes it easier to bring an extra passenger and their luggage. Hold things that you don't want in your car or your trunk.
Great Inexpensive Solution

This is a good box for the price. We drove coast to coast, and we hit plenty of rain. Bottom line, for a fairly inexpensive solution to needing extra space, this is a good choice, and certainly better than a roof bag in my opinion, and only a bit more expensive.

This was perfect for our trip to the coast. We were able to stash the stroller, beach toys, toy trucks and other dirty things that we didn’t want in our car or that would have taken up all the space in our trunk. Assembly was easy. We had rain for about 200 miles but everything stayed dry inside. Highly recommend it as a great buy.
