Greg.R asks - I have a spare tire on the back of my car. How much clearance is there from the hitch pin/pin hole to the rear of the box.
ORS Racks Direct Crew answers - There is 11 inches of clearance from the center of the hitch pin / hitch pin hole to the exterior inside face of the box. This should be adequate for clearing most rear spare tires but is not guaranteed. You will need to measure your specific configuration as sometimes the receiver hitch can be recessed under the vehicle.
