Kayaks come in all shapes and sizes. The Thule 835XT Hull-a-Port kayak rack fits them all. Unique J-Cradle design uses up less base rack crossbar space than other kayak racks that transport the boat flat, providing plenty of room for another 835XT Hull-a-Port or other gear carriers and accommodates any kayak including sea, recreational and whitewater kayaks. Includes front and rear cradles. The included Universal mounts allow fastening this kayak carrier to all Thule load bars (square, oval Rapid Aero & Xsporter truck rack), virtually all factory installed base rack cross bars and Yakima round bars. Includes all hardware, 2 straps, buckle bumpers and a pair of Thule 855 Quickdraw ratcheting tie down straps for securing kayak bow and stern during transport.
PLEASE NOTE: The only differences between the Thule 835XT Hull-a-Port and the less expensive Thule 825 Port Side kayak rack is the 835XT has cloth covers over the foam pads and includes ratcheting 855 QuickDraw tie-down straps (825 doesn't have cloth covers and has non-ratcheting straps that need to be manually adjusted and tied instead of automatic ratchet down design on 855 Quick Draw straps).- Thule 835XT kayak rack has a unique shape that fits all types of kayaks-sea or whitewater.
