I recently replaced my 2008 Pathfinder with a 2009 BMW 3-Series Convertible and the 2009 Nissan Versa. There was no way I was going to haul cargo with the BMW and the Versa fit the bill with the exception of cargo hauling. Buying the rack system for the Versa makes it a much more versatile “winter beater”. The 400XT Aero base rack system was very simple to install less then an hour and very secure. We immediately drove back home to Vermont (330 miles and a majority over 70 MPH) and never once were we concerned about losing our gear in the Quest roof top bag. I modified the bag with two pieces of plywood to give the bottom some rigidly to allow it to sit on top of the bars rather than directly on the roof to prevent denting. The system does produce some additional wind noise on every day driving but once the Quest bag was in place we didn’t even notice it at all. It worked extremely well and we are very pleased with ORS Racks Direct. Prices are fantastic and shipping was fast 3 or 4 days I believe. I have already recommended ORS Racks Direct to colleagues for all their rack needs as well.
