The Thule 871XT fairing replaces the Thule 871 with a better and more secure fit on both the square and Rapid Aero Thule bars. Thule Rapid Aero bar users will especially appreciate the fact that the Thule 871XT attaches to the bars without blocking T-Track used for the gear carrier accessories. And no more knobs sticking straight up when mounted to the Rapid Aero bars. ORS Racks Direct crew says - Thule rack fairings are only compatible with the Thule Racks square load bars and elliptical Thule Rapid Aero load bars. For factory rack cross bars you'll want to go with an Inno Racks Fairing, which work great on factory racks.
