The pair of Thule 875XT Hydro Glide kayak saddles offer a slick and easy way to load all types of kayaks. Sold as one pair for attaching to the roof rack rear cross bar. Must be used in combination with a pair of the 878XT Set-to-Go kayak saddles (not included; see accessory add-ons below) on front car rack crossbar. Connects directly to Thule square load bars & elliptical Thule Rapid Aero bars, Thule Xsporter Truck Rack, Inno Roof Rack crossbars, Yakima round cross bars and virtually all factory installed racks with cross bars. (we recommend using our handy Thule Racks Automated Fit Guide, see above or below, to check compatibility with vehicle factory racks). Includes pair of 875XT Hydro Glide saddles, all mounting hardware, one load strap, buckle bumper and one Thule 855 Quickdraw ratcheting tie down strap for boat bow or stern.
PLEASE NOTE: The Thule 883 Glide & Set kayak rack is an excellent alternative option. Includes a pair of Thule 878XT saddles and a pair of 875XT saddles packaged together as a complete kayak rack system.

If loading boats from the rear of the car we highly recommend the Thule 854 Water Slide Mat (not included; see accessory add-ons above) for simultaneously protecting your vehicle and also gaining extra assistance when loading and unloading a boat.
We recommend either the SteelCore lock straps, Kayak Lasso or the Lashlock kayak lock system (not included; see accessory add-ons above) to protect your boat from theft.
