The revolutionary new Thule 9003 Raceway Platform Trunk Bike Rack delivers the ultra-easy bicycle loading convenience and transport stability of platform-style hitch mount bike racks to the trunk mount bike rack category! Holds 2 bicycles. Full system locking security included. The Thule 9003 Raceway Platform carrier includes two integrated bike trays, allowing for effortless bike loading and unloading at an easy reaching low level compared to all other trunk mount bike carriers which require raising the bikes much higher when loading. FINALLY!! A Rack That Meets ALL My Needs

After almost losing a bike off of a traditional non-platform trunk mounted rack, then almost losing a bike because of clearance issues off my roof mounted rack, I was looking for a rack that mounted to the trunk that was dependable enough that I didn't have to worry about my bike falling off at every railroad crossing. I found it in this rack. It is super easy to set up and use, takes me less than 5 minutes to get it out of the shop and install it on the car, then it is super easy to mount the bikes on it, and they are mounted so securely that I don't have to give them a second thought weather I am going 5 miles or 500 miles. Totally Love this rack. Although it is a little heavy compared to other racks, I can still access my trunk while the rack is installed on the car.

I really needed a Toyota Prius bike rack as I had absolutely no room in the car. I wasn't too keen on a bike rack for the car roof and so looked into rear mount racks. Having always considered trunk bike racks to be kind of a pain to install and also not the most safe for carrying bikes, I really looked around for high quality options. I had to look no further with the RaceWay Platform. So clever to include bike trays on the trunk rack to stabilize the bikes. And it is so much easier to load the bikes without having to mess with putting them on cradles or anything. The cable attachment system is bullet-proof and I just leave the rack on all the time, as the cables never come loose like straps would. Very happy to have all the locks included for locking the bikes and the rack up. Just the perfect trunk rack for my needs. Highly recommend without hesitation to others.

Lynn K. asks - Apologies for asking twice (I also asked this question on the 9001 / 9002 RaceWay page) but I'm trying to figure out how I would know what the appropriate FitDial setting is supposed to be positioned at for my specific car.
ORS Crew answers - Great question. The installation instructions manual that comes included (also see link above for the pdf file of the instructions) includes a complete list of all vehicles and the correct FitDial setting for each specific car.

ORS Crew answers - Yes, it works as a superb 2006 Subaru Tribeca trunk bike rack. Other good options are the 9001 / 9002 RaceWay series and the 9010 / 9009 ArchWay series from Thule Racks.
Brian asks - Doublechecking before placing my order that this will work as a 2011 Kia Forte trunk bike rack (it is 4DR sedan model). Looks like the perfect combination of a trunk and hitch bike rack!

ORS Crew answers - Yes the 9003 Raceway is a superb choice for a 2011 Nissan Versa trunk bike rack. The Fit Dial setting is 9 for the '11 Nissan Versa sedan.

ORS Crew answers - Yes this is a great choice for a 2004 Saab 9-3 trunk bike rack. FYI, the other RaceWay models (9001 and 9002), as well as all other Thule trunk mount bike racks, are also compatible.
MTBzarg asks - Would this rack work as a 2006 Nissan Sentra trunk bike rack? It is the Special Edition that comes with a factory installed spoiler. I reviewed the PDF instructions for this rack and it did not specify it wouldn't work. Just want to make sure before purchasing. Any assistance would be appreciated.
