The über-popular Thule 91725 Universal Flat Top snowboard rack-ski rack carries up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards (mix and match carrying skis and snowboards at the same time too). Delivering dramatic value and innovation, the Thule 91725 ski-snowboard carrier now includes a 2 pack of Thule locks & keys to simultaneously lock skis and snowboards inside the rack and the rack itself to the vehicle. The Thule 91725 Universal Flat Top also includes a set of factory rack adapter mounts allowing this snowboard-ski rack to install directly on virtually all factory rack crossbars, as well as any aftermarket multi-purpose base rack cross bars from Thule (including square load bars, AeroBlade, Rapid Aero, Xsporter truck rack crossbars etc.), Yakima round bars, Whispbar aero bars, Inno Racks square cross bars etc.
With an oversized push button release the Thule 91725 is super easy to open & close while wearing mittens or gloves. Works as a superb water skis rack, wake board carrier or fishing rod rack during the warmer months too!

The Practical Choice

I am a ski instructor, and drive with skis almost every day. The ski rack is very handy and useful. It is easy to use, and I have not had any problems with it. It makes for a perfect fit on my 2002 Nissan X-Terra factory rack cross bars. I love my Thule ski rack.

Transporting 1 snowboard and 3 pairs of skis. The poles are put on top of the snowboard. Opens easily with a big button, no problem with mittens. I don't notice any noise while I'm driving.

Received the racks quicker then expected from ORS! I carry four snowboards and made the trip upstate New York the last two snow storms. The rack works perfectly. Holding up to two blizzards and quick get up and goes. I can see these will last for many seasons to come. Snow season is just about over here in NY. I'll pull off the snowboard racks and throw on the surfboard pads. You can't beat Thule.

I was concerned about downsizing from a large SUV that can haul and carry everything. When I needed to find a solution I looked to Thule. ORS had the best price and delivered it to me in time for our first ski trip. Very easy to use and holds equipment safely and securely and looks great too.

This snowboard rack arrived sooner than expected, was unbelievably easy and quick to attach to the factory installed roof racks on both my Chevy Avalanche and Nissan Pathfinder. It is fast and easy to switch from one vehicle to the other and takes less than 5 minutes to do so. I just got back from a fly fishing trip and the rack held the rods in place without any adverse effects to the rods. We haven't gone snowboarding yet but have loaded the boards on the rack and it's also very easy to load them and they are held on very secure. I especially like the design that keeps the top bar upward in the open position when you are loading the snowboards or fly rods so that you don't need to use one hand to hold it open. Also the unique torx head screws with the center pin make it very difficult for anyone to steal the rack from your car. The locks on the rack are a must! Great product!

The 91725 ski and snowboard carrier by Thule is a very good roof rack. It's very easy to install and it looks great too. The button that releases the top half is big and easy to activate. It does a good job carrying our skis. The bonus is that in the summer, we use it carry our fishing rods.

I wanted a no frills but secure and stable ski rack for my rig and I found one. THe Flat Top does exactly what it is supposed to: keep your skis safely attached to the roof of your vehicle. I just bought this thing, slapped in directly on my factory crossbars and headed for the hill. It works great, very easy to load and unload skis, plus, it comes with free locks. Take my advice, this thing is great, and it doesn't break the bank.

ORS Racks Direct crew says - This carrier is 30" in length.
Chris asks - Will two sets of these (91725) mount side-by-side on a pair of Thule RB60 elliptical crossbars? It says that they measure 30 inches each but I have no experience in this. I want to know my options before buying anything.
Rack James answers - They will fit side by side on the RB60 60" bars. The distance between the mounting clamps is about 23", so you could mount each 91725 with the outer most clamp at the very end of the loadbar which will leave a couple inches between the two carriers.
Janice asks - I have an older model Thule 725 Flat Top snowboard carrier (before they came out with the 91725 version that has universal clamps) and wanted to know what Thule adapter I need to fit the 725 on a 2008 Subaru Impreza with Subaru factory installed roof rack and crossbars.
ORS Crew answers - You will need to use the Thule 753-3998 adapter kit.
