The Thule Xadapt 6 Kit is a long bolt adapter kit that makes it possible to connect Thule watersport racks (including Thule kayak racks and surfboard racks) to TracRac truck rack crossbars. The Thule Xadapt 6 Kit serves as extra-long bolts to allow the Thule watersport carriers to mount to the large diameter Trac Rac truck rack system cross bars.
The Thule Xadapt 6 Kit is also designed for mounting the Thule Cascade series roof mount cargo boxes (Cascade cargo boxes discontinued by Thule Racks) to the Thule PRO Series commercial truck rack & van rack bars, oval Thule Xsporter truck racks and Thule Rapid Aero bars. For Thule Cascade cargo box applications, the Thule Racks Xadapt 6 Kit inserts in the load bar t-slot channels found on these systems. Thule Xadapt6 Kit works in the t-slot channels of Votex bars too (Votex racks have silver elliptical bars with a channel in them & are found on certain model Volkswagen, Audi, Saab, BMW, Volvo cars etc.) Easy to follow Thule Xadapt6 instructions included.
