Connects to Yakima round cross bars only. Simply snap on the WindJammer, angle it slightly up or down, and you've eliminated any sounds generated from the roof rack by creating a smooth flow of wind.
The primary cause of roof rack wind noise is harmonic vibration. When angled up or down just a few degrees, the Yakima WindJammer redirects enough wind to dampen that vibration considerably, eliminating any noise created by the vibration. - Spreads open and snaps around front crossbar, a la zip-lock style.
