The Yakima Copperhead Bike Rack is a no-frills fork mount bike carrier that meets any budget. Works with all common tire / rim sizes and any size road or mountain bike fork (not compatible with disc brakes). Mounts directly to either Yakima base rack round bars or Thule square load bars. Not compatible with factory car rack crossbars. Yakima lock recommended (not included; see accessories below) to secure the bicycle inside the carrier.- Quick-release skewer grasps any size mountain or road bike fork. Please note if your bike has disc brakes we recommend the Yakima SprocketRocket or Yakima Viper instead.

The Yakima CopperHead is not compatible with disc-brake equipped mountain bikes. Instead we recommend the Yakima Sprocket Rocket or Yakima Viper.
We recommend a Yakima lock (sold separately; see accessories below) to secure the bicycle inside the carrier.

We recommend that you purchase additional lock cores in anticipation of adding future gear attachments so you can continue to use the same key.
