The Yakima Wheel Fork (8002067) carries your front bike wheel or spare bike wheels on top of the car and connects directly to Yakima Racks round crossbars as well as Inno Racks and Thule Racks square cross bars. Also compatible with factory rack crossbars using two Yakima Horizontal Mighty Mounts or Yakima Universal MightyMounts (sold separately; see accessory add-ons below). This wheel carrier offers superior performance and includes integrated anti-spin technology to prevent bike wheel from rotating during transport. Yakima lock cable recommended (not included; see accessory add-ons below) to secure wheel to the rack.

The wheel fork is very handy for those of us that don't have a great deal of room in the car. It is very nice to be able to have the wheel outside and utilize the entire trunk for other things. I travel constantly and this is a must have.

Yakima WheelFork mounts to Yakima round bars and Inno & Thule square bars directly. Will also mount to factory rack bars using a set of Yakima Mighty Mounts adapters. Optionally lock wheel inside Yakima Wheel Fork using a cable lock. This is an excellent accessory for use with any fork mount bike rack, allowing you to carry your wheel on the roof rack and not taking up space in the car or possibly getting grease and dirt inside the car.
