The Yakima Sidewinder Tandem Bike Racks make loading your tandem bike easy as pie! Innovative swing-out skewer arm design makes it effortless for one person to load/unload the bicycle. This fork mount tandem carrier connects directly to either Yakima base rack round cross bars or Thule square load bars. Not compatible with factory car rack crossbars. We recommend using a Yakima lock core (not included; see accessories below) to secure the tandem bicycle to the carrier.

  • Firmly holds all tandem frame shapes more securely than a wheel-tray design.
  • Yakima Sidewinder easily holds virtually any tandem bike fork using a stainless steel locking Long-Throw Skewer with single side adjustability.
  • Protects bottom mounted cables with unique padded boom cradle and quick release ratcheting straps.
  • Designed to clear hatches and flip up rear doors on most vehicles.
  • Lockable with Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock (not included; see accessories below).
