The Yakima King Cobra Upright Bike Rack (8002084) firmly grips any wheel size from 20" to 29". Holds any bike, including road, mountain, 29ers, women's, bmx and kids bikes. Also handles, no problem, all those bicycles with front suspension or any type of funky suspension, thru axles or disc brakes. Connects directly to both Yakima base rack round crossbars and Inno Racks & Thule Racks square load bars. Yakima KingCobra bike carrier can also connect to virtually all factory installed car racks when used in combination with your choice of Yakima Universal or Horizontal Mighty Mounts (both sold separately; see accessory add-ons below). We recommend adding a Yakima lock core (not included; see accessory add-ons below) for use with the KingCobra to secure the bicycle inside the bike rack.

I just got my KingCobra rack a couple of weeks ago. I installed it immediately and gotta say it very easy just like the demo videos show it to be. Very cool how all you have to do is set the entire bike on the rack, without taking the front wheel off, and then slide it forward and the KingCobra automatically grabs and steady's the bike so you don't need to hold it up when you make the final adjustment to the knob on the bottom. Get the lock too so you can lock the bike to the rack. This baby is awesome!

I love the Yakima King Cobra bike racks. I've been using 2 on my Nissan Altima for a couple of years and never had any issues with them at all. It's been a while since I installed them, but I remember they went on the car rack crossbars easily. I love how when I get back from a muddy mountain bike ride here in Michigan I can can just throw the bike up on top and without any effort It is secured and loaded. Seriously can't think of any negative feedback on this carrier. I definitely recommend for anyone looking to get a bike rack that you don't need to take the front bike wheel off to load up onto the car rooftop.
