The Yakima LoadStops (8005000) are an excellent economical, general purpose load carrier for a wide range of gear and equipment such as ladders, lumber & plywood and more. Great for also transporting a canoe and other boats etc. Prevents cargo from shifting from side to side or front and rear rocking of load. Set of four Yakima LoadStop brackets included, which mount to Yakima car racks and truck racks. Yakima Load Stops connect to Yakima base rack round cross bars only. Recommended for use with a pair of Yakima Heavy-Duty straps (not included; see accessory add-ons below).
- The sturdy L-shaped brackets are ideal for ladders, plywood & lumber and more. Great for a canoe and other boats etc.
- Grippy ribbed surfaces of the Yakima LoadStops safely hold loads by preventing lateral shifts.
- Due to the high vertical edge on each L-bracket, the Load Stops safely hold in place thicker, taller loads.
- Highly recommended for use with a pair of Yakima rack straps (not included; see accessory add-ons below).
- For total safety and stability when transporting long loads we highly recommend also using a pair of Yakima Bow & Stern tie-downs (not included; see accessory add-ons below).

Yakima LoadStop brackets are packaged as a set of four.
Attaches to Yakima round bars used on Yakima base rack system car racks and Yakima truckbed truck racks only.
Recommended for use with a pair of Yakima Heavy-Duty rack straps (not included; see accessory add-ons above) for total safety and stability.
For total safety and stability when transporting long loads we highly recommend also using a pair of Yakima Bow & Stern tie-downs (not included; see accessory add-ons above).
We recommend the SteelCore locking straps or Lashlock locking system to protect your gear from theft (not included; see accessory add-ons above) when using the Load Stops.
We recommend purchasing four Yakima Accessory Lock Housing Units (not included; see accessory add-ons above) to lock each LoadStop bracket to your Yakima base rack system crossbars. Each Yakima Lock Housing unit requires one Yakima SKS lock core.
