The Yakima BasketCase Cargo Basket (8007012) is the perfect companion for transporting small cargo loads and wet gear you do not want inside your vehicle. Connects directly to Yakima base rack cross bars. Also when used in combination with Yakima Horizontal or Universal Mighty Mounts (not included; see accessory add-ons below) the Basket Case will connect to all styles of Thule load bars, Inno Car Rack crossbars and virtually all factory racks. This roof basket comfortably holds camping gear, luggage, packs, coolers and more.
- Durable vinyl-coated steel wire grid has a two-inch lip for safely and securely transporting gear. We highly recommend also using the Yakima BasketCase Stretch Net (not included; see accessory add-ons below).
- Spans the width of your car so you can load from either side; or mount lengthwise to allow room on crossbars for bike carriers and other gear attachments.
- Connects directly to Yakima base rack cross bars. Also when used in combination with a set of 4 Yakima Horizontal or Universal Mighty Mounts (not included; see accessory add-ons below) the Basket Case will connect to all styles of Thule load bars, Inno Racks crossbars and virtually all factory racks.

Also when used in combination with a set of 4 Yakima Horizontal or Universal Mighty Mounts (not included; see accessory add-ons above) the Basket Case will connect to all styles of Thule load bars, Inno Racks crossbars and virtually all factory racks. At order checkout we will obtain your vehicle year/make/model info to ensure compatibility. We also recommend using our handy Yakima Fit-Order Guide below to ensure compatibility.
We recommend the Yakima BasketCase Stretch Net (not included; see accessory add-ons above) for securing your cargo inside the gear basket.
We recommend the SteelCore locking straps (not included; see accessory add-ons above) to simultaneously lock your cargo gear to the basket as well as locking the roof basket itself to the vehicle.
We recommend purchasing Yakima Accessory Lock Housing (not included; see accessory add-ons above) to lock the Yakima BasketCase to your base rack crossbars. Each Yakima Lock Housing unit requires one Yakima SKS lock core.
