The X-Large / 50 inch. Yakima Roof Rack Fairing (8007049) delivers superb styling combined with an easy mounting design. Gives your vehicle and Yakima multi-purpose base rack system a sleek look while also eliminating any possible wind noise created by transporting gear on the rack. Attaches to Yakima multi-purpose roof rack system round cross bars only. Fairing is lockable using two Yakima SKS Accessory Lock Housing Units and two lock cores (both sold separately; see accessory add-ons below).

ORS Crew answers - Absolutely. Step 10 of the Yakima fairing instructions illustrates the option of using the Yakima Accessory Lock Housing to lock the fairing to the crossbars. We recommend using two Accessory Lock Housing Units for use on two of the four fairing mounting brackets. Remember that you will also need to use a Yakima SKS lock core with each Accessory Lock Housing Unit.
