The Yakima Control Tower complete base roof rack system mounts to cars & trucks with factory racks / track systems, replacing an existing weak and/or incompatible factory rack. This system also works with all Yakima permanently installed Tracks and vehicles with pre-installed fixed attachment points provided by the vehicle manufacturer. Also mounts to #6 Landing Pads (fiberglass surfaces) for fiberglass truck cap, camper shell or tonneau cover & #7 Landing Pads (metal surfaces) for sheet metal roofs that have no factory rack already.
