The Yakima FreshSesh Ski Rack / Snowboard Rack (8003069) transports up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards (and you can mix and match). This sleek looking ski & snowboard carrier includes universal clamping mounts for connecting directly to virtually all factory roof rack cross bars. You heard right, the Yakima Fresh Sesh attaches directly to factory installed roof racks and any after-market base rack cross bars including Yakima Racks round bars, Inno car rack crossbars, Thule Racks square, elliptical Rapid Aero & Xsporter truck rack load bars etc.
What makes the FreshSesh unique is your ability to personalize the ski rack's looks by selecting from either of the two included decals - a "Snow Camo" design choice and a "Bubblegum" design choice (Both decal designs included). Simply slap the decal on for a bold statement that suits your looks and lifestyle! Of course you can choose to go without a decal too for a cool modern metallic-silver finish. Lockable with two Yakima SKS Lock Cores (not included; see accessory add-ons below).

They look good and they work good

I bought the Yakima FreshSesh to carry snowboards on the roof of my Jetta, which has the Lowriders attached to my siderails. I chose the FreshSesh because I wanted the bubblegum decals and there’s nothing wrong with being a little girly now and then. So they look good up there, and they work great. Here’s a good idea: Yakima should design more decals so you can change them up every so often. The decals were a great idea, so they should run with it and expand the choices. Still, I’m happy with the bubblegum design and how they make boring ski racks a bit more fun.

I finally decided to invest in a ski rack after years and years of just throwing my skis in the back of my Jimmy. I decided to go with the Yakima FreshSesh after considering all the options out there because the price was reasonable and they go directly onto factory crossbars. Having used the product for a few months now, I am very content. The clamps that attach the rack to the crossbars are easy to work with and are very solid. You can’t miss the release button, it’s huge. The arms of the rack spring open and make easy work of loading skis and boards. When clamped down, the skis are held firmly in place. The locks aren't included, but I just took out the cores from my bikeracks and popped them into the FreshSesh and that problem was solved. The FreshSesh is simply a good product at a good value.
