The Yakima Horizontal Mighty Mounts are simple adapters that convert a factory rack with crossbars into a system capable of transporting Yakima kayak racks, upright mount bike racks and Basketcase. Horizontal Mighty Mount attachments are an economical way to attach Yakima upright bike, kayak and the BasketCase racks to virtually all factory-installed racks with cross bars (use our Yakima Racks fit/order guide below to check compatibility with your car's factory rack.)
Packaged as a complete set of four Horizontal MightyMounts (enough for attaching one gear carrier, some kayak carriers require two sets). Order more sets if you are purchasing more than one gear attachment. Compatible with Yakima High Roller, King Cobra & Raptor upright bike racks (not compatible with any fork mount bike racks), HullRaiser (new HullRaiser Aero attaches directly to factory racks), Mako Saddles (new Mako Aero mounts directly to factory racks), Hully Roller & Land Shark kayak racks plus Yakima BasketCase. Please note, many other Yakima kayak racks connect directly to factory rack bars, no MightyMount adapters necessary.
