Great bike rack and great fit. Sets up in minutes. Was skeptical as it's my first trunk rack but it's a great rack and it holds the bike securely even after driving over the potholes and dips in the roads of NJ. Thanks for recommending it ORS!

A simply sensational car rear strap-on bike rack. I heard about the locking feature on the Quick Back and was very interested. I've actually had a strap rack stolen off my car in the past. A very clever idea with locking the end of the cable inside the car. Surprised no one has thought of this before. I still use a cable lock to lock the bikes to the carrier though. I use the Quick Back on 2 different cars, a Toyota Prius and a Toyota Sequoia. I think the price of this carrier is worth it just based on how fast I can install it onto either car! Yakima Racks claims it's the fastest installing strap-on bike rack for the back of a car, I have used a lot of different kinds of strap-on bike racks and the Quick Back is by far the fastest and easist to install and use. I really love the way it looks too. It's very cool to look at, similar to the Saris Bones rack. But I went with this model because of the security feature. I'm very glad I chose the Quick Back indeed!

ASP asks - Can this trunk bike rack be placed on the back of a Chevrolet Equinox?
Barlow answers - I use the Yakima QuickBack on my 2008 Chevrolet Equinox no problem. Been using just about every weekend to and from the rail trail for about 6 months now, never have had any issues.
Tracy A. asks - Will the Yakima Quickback 2 fit on a 2011 Honda Fit? A guy at a local REI said he thought it would but Yakima doesn't say it will work.
ORS Crew answers - No it won't fit because of the small rear spoiler on the back of the roof at the top of the hatch door, it won't support the weight of the rack if you tried to attach the straps over them (which is where the straps are required to go on hatchback vehicles). However Thule Racks has worked hard to develop a complete line of Thule trunk bike racks that will all work perfectly as 2011 Honda Fit trunk bike racks.
Wally V. asks - Will the Quickback 2 fit on both a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer with a rear spoiler and a 2007 Honda Pilot?
ORS Crew answers - The good news is the QuickBack 2 will work great on your 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer spoiler. Bad news is it wont work as a 2007 Honda Pilot trunk bike rack. In fact no trunk bike racks are compatible with the '07 Honda Pilot due to the vehicle's inability to support the weight of the bikes and racks at specific points where a trunk rack would need to be placed. For the Honda Pilot good alternatives are hitch bike racks and roof bike racks.
Mary49 asks - I have a 2011 Honda Fit - NOT the Sport model, so it doesn't have the rear spoiler. Will a Yakima Quickback 2 work on my car?
ORS Crew answers - Yakima Racks still does not classify the 2011 Honda Fit (non Sport model) as a sanctioned fit. However we do highly recommend the Thule 9001 RaceWay 2 bike trunk rack (very similar to the QuickBack 2) and the Thule ArchWay 2. Both of these models include full system security to lock the bikes and also the bike rack to the vehicle.
