Great Roof Box

I purchased the Yakima LowPro cargo box rack system for two main reasons. 1. Haul all my stuff around, which it passes with flying colors! The integrated light is a wonderful idea and utilized much more than orginally thought! 2. I wanted a roof rack system that would allow me to pull into my garage without having to remove anything! Again, with some precision measuring, it passes!!! Overall this is a great system! Only slight complaint, which I knew going into, is the back lift gate cannot be utilized fully. I have to use the glass hatch to access the back of the Jeep.
I Love My New LoPro Box

Wow where do I begin??? The easiest ever design to attach the box to my Honda Pilot factory bars? The wicked low profile and killer look it adds to my Pilot? The fact that I can now pull into my garage with the box on? Plenty of room for everyone's skis and snowboards? Yep you guessed it I am pretty proud of myself for going with the LoPro.

The LoPro is amazing. Everything about it just shines. The titanium color is really sweet. The extra accessories are really nice too, the cargo box pad and net keep everything from shifting around in the box everytime you take a corner. The cargo box solar light is a very nice touch too. But the best part is how I haven't noticed any difference in my Audi's gas mileage with the Lo Pro on top. No noticeable drag with the box on top either. I'm really impressed with the SkyBox Lo Pro.

I purchased my Yakima Skybox LoPro over a month ago and have been very pleased with it. It takes about 5 minutes to put on/take off my Subaru Outback and it is big enough to hold 4 snowboards (w/ the bindings folded) and 4 pairs of boots). The clamps are extremely easy to use and adjust to fit all types of vehicles. I can fully open my tailgate with the box attached! Gas mileage doesn't suffer much: I lost only about 1-2 mpg. The last great feature is a matter of pure convenience: I can park in the garage w/ the Skybox attached! SO NICE! I only have two complaints: the solar-powered light has never worked and the box really moves around when you're at speed (esp. when empty). I'm sure I could adjust things more to mitigate the second complaint but it would be nice if the box were a bit more rigid. All in all, though, I highly recommend the SkyBox LoPro roof box!

ORS Crew says - The Yakima SkyBox LoPro cargo box has a very long range of adjustment to fit nearly any distance between the front roof rack crossbar and the rear roof rack cross bar (referred to as crossbar spread). In fact it'll fit any crossbars with a spread as short as 24 inches and as long as 42 inches.
ORS Crew says - Yakima has designed the SkyBox LoPro box with an angled undercut in the rear tail of the box. This allows the rear back door or hatch on cars to open up fully. A very nice touch.

This car roof mount luggage / cargo box connects directly to Yakima multi-purpose base rack round crossbars, Inno roof rack bars, all styles of Thule base rack load bars and virtually all factory roof rack cross bars. At order checkout we will obtain your vehicle year/make/model info to ensure this cargo carrier is compatible.
We offer 2 fulfillment options for cargo boxes:
1) Shipment by freight to residential/commercial addresses
2) In-store pickup.

1) For Shipments to Residential and Commercial Addresses

PLEASE NOTE: An additional freight charge of $50.00 will be added to your order as this item cannot be shipped via UPS/Fed Ex due to its oversize dimensions and must be shipped via freight & we ask that you please allow up to 2-3 weeks for delivery of this item. For your convenience this item ships directly to both residential and commercial business addresses, please supply either a residential or commercial business address for delivery at checkout. Please inspect your Cargo/Gear Box before signing and accepting delivery (this means removal from the cardboard carton and inspection for any visible damage as well as function of hinges/lid supports/locks) from freight company as ORS Racks Direct cannot accept returns or damage claims of these items after delivery has been accepted by the customer. If the box is damaged and unacceptable please refuse delivery with the LTL Freight company and contact us for resolution.
